Day 3

The rains are arrived and the monsoon is supposed to arrive on Tuesday or Wednesday. Also, today, there was a transportation strike (with other things also being closed as well). This didn't affect us too much although when we were out and about we saw some buses that had been forcefully stopped (since the opposition leaders didn't want an public transportation running since they were protesting oil prices hikes. Other cities had a total shut down although Delhi only had partial).

In the morning we visited schools, dividing up into 5 groups (it was supposed to be 6 groups but one school was closed because of the strike). I visited an "alternative school."

In the afternoon we visited the CCRT (center for cultural research and training) where we watched some classical Indian dancing (the Bharatnatyam style). The two dancers were quite amazing.
