Varanasi-- arrived after an overnight train ride. Completely exhausted we toured around the Ganges, taking a boat out to watch where they cremate the bodies (umm...Varanasi is considered a holy city and as a Hindu, if you live and die in Varanasi, you are able to cleanse your soul and so there is a whole ritual that happens at on the ghats where the closest male family member cleanses himself in the Ganges and then cremates the body). We then watched the "aarti,' a ceremony where a bunch of priests perform a ritual.
